TraumaMan Now Available on DVD! (09/20/07)
Simulab completed filming TraumaMan to provide users with an Introductory DVD and a User's Guide DVD in the summer of 2007.

Simulab has always offered written manuals for our system users, maintenance of the system, instruction for use of the system, as well as the services of our committed customer care team to provide information and assistance.

These DVDs augment those services, offering a visual, hands-on overview of the system.

The introductory DVD lasts a few minutes and serves as an introduction to the system. It is accessible through our website - so a link can be sent to a new course instructor who can view it from his or her own desk. This DVD covers the features and benefits of the system and a general overview of each of the procedures.

If you own or annually lease a TraumaMan System - a User's Guide DVD is included with each system. It covers everything from basic set-up to maintenance to troubleshooting, giving each TraumaMan System owner a great resource for easily training new course coordinators and instructors. It is also a great refresher course for long time users!

Body Form Skin: New & Improved (06/29/07)
TraumaMan's body form skin and replaceable tissue sets have been improved. The Velcro that was used to attach the skin and replaceable tissue sets to the body form tray is being replaced with button style anchors. If you haven't seen them yet, you will in the future as we get each system upgraded.

The button style anchors provide a more secure fastening method and reduce the possibility of improperly aligning the replaceable tissues sets for procedures. Our purchase program customers have either already received their new and improved body form skin or will receive it when the system is sent to Simulab for their scheduled annual maintenance. Our rental fleet will also be upgraded on an ongoing basis.

Having Trouble Attaching the New Skin?
